SATURDAY V SUTTON UTD

Recommended Posts

Massive game on Saturday at home to League Leaders Sutton United

Although when we played them a few weeks ago they looked a better side, until just after half time it was a pretty even game and at half time I thought we could of been up.We should get a good crowd in at the Bridge, especially as the Recorder will be publicising the free season tickets for Under 12's accompanied by an adult for the rest of the season.

Sutton have never liked playing at the Bridge and overall we have a good record at home against them,Margate beat them at home earlier in the season so they don't necessarily travel too well and although their manager was at the game last night,we didn't give too much away.So get down the bridge Saturday and get the ground rocking and 3 points in the bank for us,as if we win it could really set us up well for the play offs

We've won 8 away on the road, which means we're 3rd in the league away performance guide according to thie link although saying that all our defeats in the league have been away. I'm pretty confident, we've no suspensions as far as I'm aware, and no serious injuries, so we've a full squad to choose from. But saying that Bridge Road has never been a happy hunting ground for SUFC, against HFC or AFCH, but I think we'll be good for at least a point. I think we'll bring a few down (more than a few teams have had their best crowd of the season against us), but it's going to be tight.

Suggest you put Bridge Avenue into your satnav on Saturday or we may claim the game by default on a no-show.
