couldnt agree more m8, the refs are killing the game at the mo, i hope not but i dont think it will be long untill a ref gets hurt. the way they talk and treat players is a joke, no respect. i was at the bowers game and saw enfield walk away with a good 5.0 win but 3 bowers players booked in the first 5 mins, bowers number 8 shouted "ref thats twice ive been taken out now, are you going to do anything about this" and he got booked for it, its the smug look they give as if they are better then you and you cant talk to them, i wish i could meet one out in the street lol

To be honest Monk, I think its about time you grew up and started to take responsibility for your actions. Your disciplinary record at this level of football is probably the worst in the country of the last 5 years and has led to you been asked to leave several clubs. Players like yourself, need to stop blaming refs for your lack of ability and poor decision making.

On Tuesday it was blatantly obvious that you tried to kick the ball at the Clapton goal scorer whilst he celebrated, and then proceeded to give the ref verbal abuse until you finally provided the straw that broke the camels back and saw red (Or what some people on here call a cherry.!!!). You should be ashamed of the way you have behaved over the years and although Justin Edinburgh is an ugly, I don’t think you should have been the one to tell him.

Why don’t you take up handball or something..!!!

Talk is cheap, i think i know the player in question. I have seen this player play on numerous occassions and have been appalled by his attitude and foul mouth towards other players and refs. I am not defending refs at this level but this player seems to want to take the law into his own hands and acts like a five year old when a decision doesnt go his way!!

Further to your point, if he did concentrate on his game a little more and stopped moaning and whining he could be a alright player. instead this jumped up little twerp always seems to think he is hard done by.

About time the moron grew up and started respecting refs and the game in general.

Rant over

It sounds like you do know the player in question and I couldn’t agree more. His reaction to innocuous decisions, such as a throwing on the half way line is quite frankly embarassing. For some reason he seems to think that the only correct opinion is his own.

He's the type of player who would take up refereeing because he feels he has played the game and would therefore relate to the players and tell them to "£uck off and concentrate on their own game". Which is exactly the thing he is complaining about.

He says that the Clapton players have a chip on their shoulders, he's got a Harry Ramsdens on his..!!

I was also at this game. I disagree the ref "set out to send a player off". The hullbridge no.2 who was eventually sent off has no respect for referees, his team or football when you consider some of the things he said and his behaviour after the final whistle. he didn't only kick the ball towards the halfway line, it was in anger and it was very close to a Clapton players head, the same player who he critisised at half time for celebrating his goal "right in front of me"........ when he was booked he argued as expected, but there comes a point when you have just got to shut up and he clearly does not know when to. in the 2nd half he was persistently fouling and i assume that this was the reason for the 2nd yellow. on his rather lengthy exit from the pitch he kept telling the ref that he'll see him in the car park, and at the final whistle he told the ref to "get in here" and gestured towards the changing rooms. what would he achieve? I thought there was a respect campaign, and lets remember that without the ref we have NO game. The ref may have been young but we all have to start somewhere, we are not created with a lifetimes experience and being moaned at. screamed at and threatened for 90 minutes IS NOT the way to keep a steady flow of referee's. Massive chips on the shoulders of the Clapton players.....................they are the quietest team i have seen in years.

Tic some good points barney I know there is a complement there somewhere. Now on to Mr crapton I really don't think u should b making any comments especially with ur club being a complete joke I'll start by the fact u r bottom of league and that u cannot make it as a team to ur fixtures on time, like I say just a start I can go on if u wish!

Please do. ItsClapton by the way, do you have a problem with spelling as well as discipline?Whether the club is top or bottom is irrelevant as to whether or not i can makea comment. Also a club is about its past as well as its present, acomplete joke, i think not. Tell me about the rich history of Hullbridge Sports& Leisure. Supporting a team is about good and bad, i made my comments onthe 90 minutes that i witnessed. Football is not about swaggering around afootball pitch thinking you’re the big man, threatening referees and whingingwhen the opposing team celebrates the goal they have just scored. The player inquestion DOES NOT have any respect for the game.

He doesnt just have a problem with Spelling and Discipline Mr Clapton, he also has a problem with relationships, bad language and herpes but thats neither here nore there.

However, I do think you need to take some of your own advice, a club is indeed about its past as well as its present just like a player is about a season and not 90 minutes.

But you can only judge a player or a side by what you have seen so I think that you and the monk are kind of the same in that respect.

But coming on here and having ago about a players discipline problem is bang out of order and how he can swagger around like a big man is beyond me, he's only 4 foot tall..!!

To be honest i totally agree with mr crapton, what have hullbridge ever done. where is there history? quite frankly its embarrassing!!! You need to remember crapton have given alot to the senior league. Mainly six points for every team!! The old spotted dog, decent changing rooms, good players with good banter plus a fantastic pitch!!! Lets not forget the nice area!!

As for the plonker who wears number 2 for hullbridge, i hear he has retired to concentrate on handball for the olympics. lets hope by 2012 the spoilt little brat has grown up!

Look mate we might argue about it as long as you like it but you have to agree with me that your lot needs a course in "ESL grounds and directions:how to get there on time"In England they have the best road signs in the world and how you manage to get to away games on time is beyond me.....remember next time I won't be so kind. You'll start with the nine or eleven players you have got at 7.45 pm.Punctuality is a sign of respect remember mate.:)
