Not a classic game (as this stage of the season it's def the result that counts) but as Andy says two very well taken goals which you can see below... Very sad to see Leon Osei injuring his hamstring, looked a bad one so i think he'll be out for a while. The penalty was about the most obvious spot kick given ever - Have a look at the video and see why????

I know Champions League was on Sky, credit crunch etc but the crowd of 155 was disapointing.....where has everybody gone??

COME ON YOU TOWN!!!

Used to like Tuesday night footy but Eden now at Guides and I'm the taxi driver. Hope when we're in the QE midweek games will be on Wednesdays as was suggested not that long ago on here.

Not for the 1st time we've had a dissapointing crowd for a midweek game and this could be down to a number of factors including Champions League games on a Tuesday/Wednesday night.

Could we not possibly try playing a few midweek home games on a Monday or a Thursday and see if the attendances fair any better? We have had a few games in the past which have been played on Friday nights and Sundays (not your usual match nights) and attendances faired better on those days/nights.

On another note how happy was Rudi scoring that pen? There was banter through the whole game between their keeper and Rudi (even though he was on the bench) and even at half time when Rudi went to warm up and the keeper taking the long slow walk from the 'cold end' to the tunnel.

Finally well done lads last night, it could have been all to easy for us to have gone 2-0 up and have thoughts cross minds about what happened a few weeks back at Heybridge but credit to them they tuck well at the task. Now for another 3 points against an inconsistent Rumford and hopefully the start of a winning streak.

Strangely enough Romford are also looking forward to three (easy) points on Saturday.
