Staines Lammas Football club are holding the party of all parties to celebrate the Royal wedding of Kate and William.

 

We are looking for a couple of bands and a comedian to do a set for free and we have already in a place DJ Rock and a Top Ibiza DJ to be announced shortly, there will be BBQ and games all day for family and friends, so come on down and join us to celebrate the biggest wedding of the century so far!!!

T.R.S.,Seems to me that mysterious things happen when you video games,Worldly's,Errant Reffing decisions,glaring misses,maybe you should let participants know you are in attendance like Assessors do.JOHNNO'S WORLDLY IS STILL THE BEST BY MILES THOUGH.

We must have under achieved in the past 4 seasons then Nice Guy. League positions of 4th, 6th and 12th, SCC winners 08/09 and League Cup winners 09/10, and Aldershot Cup finalists 09/10 and beat Farnborough fc (full 1st team) in the semi.

 

Sounds like a real under achieved 4 seasons!

We are playing for our places in the team next year as are the young lads who have been brought in. We are competing as hard as ever, so that we dont get left on the bench for the Camberley, ash and Badshot Lea derbies!

Football is much deeper than winning cups and being promoted ! Some clubs see staying in the CCL Prem as an achievement in itself. Some clubs like Cove, Bookham, Mole Valley for example are probably punching way above their weight in terms of budget, location, facilities, pitch, etc.

 

There are other clubs that may judge a season on achievements off the field of play rather than on it, like Knaphill or Eversley for the improvements in their grounds! Some clubs may judge it on staying afloat for another season and keeping their accounts in the black !

 

As you are just a FOLLOWER of CCL football, you obviously dont see that side of football ! You have the blinkers on i'm afraid !

just cos we have over achieved previously doesnt mean we have now under achieved this season.

 

I suppose it depends on what targets a manager has for his team. Remember that a clubs targets are not always the same as the managers.

 

And yes building for next season but definitely not title contenders !
