Steve, have these fact files been published anywhere else, i.e the local paper, so the whole of the local area can read it themselves. I was just wondering, by publishing them on the website that its a limited audience. You certainly don't need to convince anybody on here!!

ANY updates from the club on ANY Margate FC matter is welcome

If i read correctly, at the recent meeting; a few people spoke up supportively of the club where they had benefitted from MFC's community work.

 

Is it possible/not to late in the day-to get these same people and many others to provide written 'references of the work that MFC has done in the community-and how individuals and various organisations have benefitted.

 

Would such references have as much 'power' as the petition ?

Local people particularly, always have the option to write to their Councillor or to the leader of the Council to express their views and opinions, and I'm sure ALL Councillors would agree about that as their democratic right.

 

In terms of timing, the Council meeting at which the case for the development will be put is in the middle of April so any correspndence / lobbying of Council members will need to have taken place by then for it to have any chance of influencing the final decision.
