Totally agree you can't teach constructive talking,take Keepers today never here them shout KEEPERS BALL,in my day,used to scare the life out me when I heard that,now all they shout is AWAY.Very few players communicate, MAN ON,TIME,HOOK IT,SEANS BALL, WHEN GOING FOR HEADERS,NEWBY DOES ALL THESE THINGS,AS WELL AS ENCOURAGE.

Totally agree smudge, being a defender, having a keeper that's talks to ya through the game gives you so much confident! I think a main factor of us this conceding a lot of goals is because we has a young 18 year old lad in goal who would not say a word. As weird as it sounds but as a defender I think there's nothing better than your goalie going throught the defenders for corners, freekicks etc. And same as you it does scare ya when you know your keeper is about to take you out!

Thanks for the comments saying that I should be a manager, I will be honest with you all and tell you that if a managers job in the CCL Div 1 or Prem does come up for grabs in the summer, myself and my coaching team will be applying for it, but if nothing does materialise and Nathan still needs me to assist him then I will be there 100%! I never wanted to leave Bedfont Sports but things became impossible with 2 of the people there and I can honestly say this was the first club I've ever had a falling out with!

 

By the way myself Nathan and Pat and Gary have already started to prepare for next season, but the one signing I would like to see is Clunk coming back to the club..
