Oh I bet you do Jamie!! You know me well. I remember that game Smudge, didn't you just get a yellow card for that, wasn't a good tackle at all. Must admit that's the only REAL bad tackle I've seen him do. Its his mouth that's the problem but this season he's been good to be honest and may it continue. Next time your down let me know smudge and I'll be sure to grab ya a pint or 2!

Tinman a rb...............hes a cb all day long redrups a descent rb was always my understudy till i left for the green grass an how so much better it is ........lol

Yea you really were redrups teacher for sending offs, you groomed him well! And yea adam is a better cb but has done well in place of the suspended Redrup.

Called commitment but yes somtimes over zealous !! Redrup is wasted at lammas the same as alot of players over the years have been hes young enough an should be pushed higher

Totally agree Newby Jamie is wasted at this level but he probably tell you aswell if he were to go up a level hed have to cut out the friday nights out. I don't think he would leave anyway and if Lawrence Munns was to retire this season then Jamie would be the man to take over the captaincy. He's die hard lammas. So top promoting our best players away from us. Was gutted to see you leave but my ears weren't!!!! Loud bugger!!!!

Was gutting to leave 4-5-1 cut me in half its says lammas but maybe i should of done it years ago! As much as i put lammas down ( a little) i want the club to be winning things an progressing forward jus sad the way its gone ie groundsharing at ashford i was at the old hut where it virtually all began into the rise of senior football an im extremeley glad im the skipper that lifted that first senior league win not forgetting the triumph in the county cup what a memorable game!!! I wish everyone well at lammas an who knows the prodigal son may return................. One day!!!

I have to admit though i have no regrets i lifted middlx prem cup last year an who knows what this year so in all honesty i made a fantastic choice going to sports we have a fantastic team an i would put it on par with the lammas team wen we won league only thing were missing at sports is a coombsy 30+ goals a season there hard to come by an most that still do it avd been around for yrs

Your right also that redders will never leave believe me had numerous convos about it but yet he stays he likes to think he will but you an i kno he never will !! Lammas team spirit does it somthing i miss!!

Think you Lamma boys should forget about 4-5-1 being a player,think you should look nearer the top of your committee,had a great discussion with one of your guys,about how you were shafted by the F.A..thats my guess for what is worth.Oh and we shared a couple of beers,nice people.

I agree sean! I was reading posts from the other week about maybe a change in management, I think Nathan has come under a lot of harsh critism, Yes you could say he does shout at the players often and yes he sometimes he could deal with situations better but I think its just frustration. You have got to remember that he has taken Lammas so far since he come 4, 5 years ago, 2 league titles, a league cup, Middx cup and 2 4th position places plus runners up in 2 finals. Staines have had 1 off season and the poor bloke gets slated for it. Also if the ground requirements were there then Lammas would be a CCL prem team, I have no doubt yourself and other players I.e liam, webby and joe would have stayed and we would have survived the prem. So I think being that for the last 3 seasons we've pushed for promotion we haven't been able to go up and now we can but have had an under par season frustates nathan even more. Nathans such a top bloke and I think people need to know him on a personal level to see why he gets so passionate. Its all good blaming management but the players have to take part of the blame, about 3 or 4 players stay for about an hour after the game while the rest go home. Redrup, munns, ben whatford are the ones that stay. Players go on holiday during the season, I.e ANIMAL! If you want to go up and play higher you need to have a full strength side all year because the teams these days are getting stronger and stronger.

For me it seems a mistake letting players leave a phone call would of kept the majority youve stated believe me an i know nathan hes not the sort of man to chase players but what if he had wed all probably have stayed!!! as for nathan i was skipper he was manager we had our moments none major an talk away from football like you said a real nice genuine fella in football his way or highway lol! I respect what hes done for the club an for

myself as a player learnt alot as a rb playing for him but why bring in others an change the helm? Did it need it? No with clunk an nathan we were fittest tightest unit why change somthing that worked??

Have to agree we havent looked as fit this year than we have in recent seasons, is that being the rec is smaller than ashford? As for phone calls, I can't comment on that as I don't that side of it! As changing management Gary ross is a top coach and big phil is a good coach!

I dunno why steve left. As for you playing Rb, thought every game you'd give 100 percent but ur a top cb for me and would slip in lovely next to Ben Whatford , ridley and redrup next year!!!

I expect gary ross is an i know what phils all about but should be a manager elsewhere he surprised me at sports at start of year did very well !!! Ridley lb you were saying hes a good rb earlier after smudge gave me some kind words perhaps i should of put meself in shop window an not redders lol

As for playing i give 100% regardless of if i play well or who for its probably that fact im a skipper that an i dont shut up lol

Ridley can play anywhere across the back four but would have jamie rb instead. I agree phil should be a manager as he proved at the start of the season with bedfont. If lawerence does retire I don't know where the next leader will come from, maybe watto or ridley but its awful quiet sometimes on the pitch!
