PRIDDERS

Recommended Posts

Pridders, Pridders, your delusions or should I say obsessions are showing. You obviously have to much time on your hands. Constructive criticism is one thing but personal invective is another. Its all way too personal Pridders. Come on spill the beansand tell us what your rants are really all about . Did the Manager go BOO and it made you jump? Very much doubt that you have put your convictions and opinions where your mouth is and put them to the Manager face to face. Typical keyboard Manager. Oh I forgot, you have an antique Grade A UEFA licence. Come on tell us what club you managed? Don't be shy and we can defer to your greater knowledge. How have Margate existed without you and your self opinionated blatherings? You demeaned yourself in your arrogant and deprecating comments about the Margate Kit Manager. What a snobbish comment to refer to him as the " laundry man", though it was obvious why you lampooned him. :futbolbud2:You seem to feel that you have man management acumen. LOL LOL. You obviously crave attention and this is all about self promotion . Socially inept and boorish. Just juvenile really and your far too old for it. :futbolbud2:

oh dear pram and rattle!

we all have a rant about football, managers, team selection etc whoever you support. We pay our money and is it not our right? if not then we would have premier league and football league of fergie's!

Shame that you cant disagree ( the very purpose of a forum) without making it personal !:492:

I must also add that opinions are just that, an opinion, and if we all had exactly the same then the world would be a very boring place !

So I suggest you jump off your soap box and go back to school to learn about tolerance and respect for others and their personal opinions that they may have on whatever subject

OOOOO DEAR................raw nerve has been interfered with methinks!!! Yet 'another ' who feels the riteous need to slate someone on here for stating fact or an opinion. No-one knows more than me the need to be less volatile and be more tolerant of others. This is borne out of my quick, historically, overeaction to past comments that, at the time, I disagreed with. Calm down Gills old chap. Afterall tis you who now seem to be getting petulant and borish and resorting to what maybe construed legally as ' slander ' or indeed deformation of character. Oh an by the way the manager, I assume you refer to IOC, wouldnt listen to anyone. He doesnt have to he knows everything !!! lol

The purpose of the forum is of course to state your opinion. You pay your money and that is your right. However, when the forum becomes a vehicle for personal attacks - how can that be right? The players/managers/ coach/staff are not in a position to reply. Doesn' say much about people who enjoy this sport.

I think you could get ten fans from the same club( lets say margate!) and they would all give a different opinion as to tatics, team structure etc.The great thing about about football is that no game is the same and we can all go to the same game and see something different!

We will all at some stage complain about the manager or a certain player. If someone says they have never done so then they do not get the passion that football creates and i wonder why they bother!

It does not mean that anyone is right or wrong but surely we have the entitlement to say what we think and to be disagreed with in a coherent and civil manner however strongly!!

I accept that the manager/players do not have a voice but irrespective of what they hear from the terraces or this forum they should still be their own man. That is after all why they are in the position they are in and we are standing where we are on the terraces!

I wonder why Pridmore, with all his tactical knowhow, is playing records and watching margate every saturday instead of working somewhere in football, even at a very low level. Introduce yourself to "winch the laundryman" on saturday, Pridmore, I think he will be very interested in what you have got to say (to his face).

Been busy all day so here we go – sit back, grab yourself a brew and enjoy the read lol

It would seem Mr Priestfield Boy has only very recently joined up in the last day to specifically have a pop at me – well each to their own. We’ll break down and answer his initial bit of bile shall we........

Pridders, Pridders, your delusions or should I say obsessions are showing.

By Delusions, I assume you mean the literal term of ‘false belief or opinion’ either of an obsession which would kind of make sense. But are showing? In that context, they’ve always been showing and never hidden because I’ve always been up front with any comments. So yes my opinion of IOC does show and if by saying it’s delusional or ‘of false belief’ that’s your opinion – I won’t slate you for it. However, I do think you’re actually guilty of ‘Delusion of Reference’, because you obviously actually (falsely) believe my insignificant remarks have any meaning.

You obviously have to much time on your hands.

Clearly! – Can’t argue with that.

Constructive criticism is one thing but personal invective is another. Its all way too personal Pridders.

Personal invective is simply abusive language against another person, of which I am not guilty of. Why not just use common language that everybody understands, and stop trying to be clever using language that you neither know or understand. Constructive criticism is a good thing, but it’s hard to constructively criticise somebody who wouldn’t care nor listen anyway, so I’m going to criticise where I feel it’s due just as I’ll praise where it’s due. If you don’t understand that then maybe a public forum isn’t really for you. So that leads onto what is ‘way too personal’ – It’s a public forum and people with jobs in the public domain are open to criticism like it or not. I haven’t abused anyone on this forum, although people seem to think it’s pretty much OK to abuse me. That’s OK, if it makes them happy in their little world.

Come on spill the beansand tell us what your rants are really all about. Did the Manager go BOO and it made you jump? Very much doubt that you have put your convictions and opinions where your mouth is and put them to the Manager face to face.

There are no hidden meanings, no sub plot, no conspiracy, no gunman on the grassy knoll. The beans are there to see, it’s pretty plain English and not confusing, and the posts are not rants. Show me where I have ‘ranted’ – I haven’t because in reality I’ve just put over some observations about the current manager as I believe them to be, IN MY OPINION –3 Key words there I feel – IN MY OPINION. If you don’t like my opinion, fine. If you feel that strongly about my opinion why not actually post a reply next to where I have ‘ranted’ with a counter argument!?! I would happily put any convictions and opinions to the manager. I’m sure he’d do a ‘Cloughie’ and listen, think about it for two minutes and decide he was right in the first place.

Typical keyboard Manager.

Not really am I. No brainer this one if you actually open your eyes and use your brain before typing that. I think you’ll see I’m not hiding behind my keyboard. My real name has there for everyone to see from day 1. Some people actually respect the fact I’m not hiding behind anything. I’m not the one hiding behind a screen name and funny avatar – this is me and that’s my picture to the left. Sorry, you are, I’m speaking to....................... enough said. I rest that particular case!

Oh I forgot, you have an antique Grade A UEFA licence. Come on tell us what club you managed? Don't be shy and we can defer to your greater knowledge.

An antique that is a relevant qualification last time I checked I think you’ll find. Yes there is now a higher qualification (UEFA Pro) but in the scheme and structure of coaching licences it is very much valid, alive and kicking. To gain the licence you had to have a working knowledge of the game. If you bothered to read any earlier posts I didn’t say I had a greater knowledge, just I had a licence which in turn gave me a bit of licence to speak with a little more football knowledge than your average ‘terry on the terrace’. As according to you I’m obviously delusional I started at Real Madrid and then worked my way down!

How have Margate existed without you and your self opinionated blatherings?

Self opinionated they may be (remember it’s a forum) but I think if you look hard enough I did a post about Dean Grant which was almost prophetic and then I mentioned Lacey’s shortcomings (I did not slate the lad though) and he has since been transfer listed. Nothing to do with me, but READY FOR IT – PRAISE SPOLIER ALERT – IOC has made two correct decisions there. Grant dropped a level and will probably continue to do so until he arrives in the Sunday league and no-ones come in for Lacey. Enough said about ‘blathering’!

You demeaned yourself in your arrogant and deprecating comments about the Margate Kit Manager. What a snobbish comment to refer to him as the "laundry man", though it was obvious why you lampooned him.

You’ve obviously never been around a real football changing room if you cannot recognise banter as such. It wasn’t snobbish, arrogant nor did I humble myself, and I’m sure Steve has a big enough sense of humour to see through that, and many would probably think the title of ‘Kit Manager‘ is somewhat a salubrious title LOL. Shush Love I’m managing the kit, can’t concentrate, now is that 2 cups of conditioner or three I put in there!

On a serious note, if calling Steve ‘Winch The Laundry Man’ upsets certain people I apologise to you sensitive souls. However, if you do possess a sense of humour and can read between the black and white type, good on yer. On what account did I ‘Lampoon’ him. Lampoon means to abusively ridicule and I did no such thing. IOC said “Steve is Knowledgeable about the game” and that’s a direct quote – I asked the question of why if he is/was indeed as knowledgeable, he didn’t point out the obvious in the T&M game – If he’s going to step up to that plate and be a voice in the technical area he’s got to be open to the criticism I’m afraid. Remember this is a guy who has managed at various level’s so I’m sure he’s a big enough to take such criticism from a deluded idiot such as me.

You seem to feel that you have man management acumen. LOL LOL.

Putting words in my mouth there as I never said that – I can spot and tell someone who hasn’t mind, but I have never ever stated that I have or had have man management acumen.

You obviously crave attention and this is all about self promotion.

Not really, I’m just posting what I think. If I was craving attention and trying to self promote myself (to what end I ask?) I would do so on something more than a small forum with a handful of readers and even less who post. Think about that one! Also if I was self promoting I would be doing so with my website links as my signature etc etc. As I said if I’m self promoting then for what reason?

Socially inept and boorish. Just juvenile really and your far too old for it

You can’t really accurately call me socially inept can you, as you’ve never met me or had a conversation with me in a social situation. Also Boorish? Really? Big words without knowing the meaning again I’m afraid – By saying that you’re actually saying I’m unrefined in speech, have bad manners, I’m loutish, uncivilized, course and ill bred. In fact you can have the last one I suppose, as coming from Yorkshire we’re all pretty much ill bred. Fair play.

I’m giving my opinion, so that is not really juvenile is it – qualify or quantify that if you wish – and the missus didn’t think I was .......ahem..... too old for it last night.............

From under which stone did this joker come from, who stole your lollipop LOL. What the heck are records, and who plays them!!!!!????!!!!!! Why I'm not currently 'working' in football has already been documented and gone through, so if you can't be bothered to read up properly and just want to jump on the bandwagon I'm not prepared to humour you. Jog on pussy cat.

A nice response

Must admit when pridders first started posting that I thought he was an anti-IOC, but changed my opinion after a few posts. Just someone with an opinion
