Hastings 1 Town 0

Sigh, not the result we wanted but no complaints from me.

Our creative players had poor games today, I don't think we had a shot on target in the second half. They didn't threaten much either but managed a goal with a free header from a set piece.

I suppose the team selection will raise a few eyebrows - I wasn't that surprised myself with Wild missing out and O'Rawe starting but felt Booty should have been on the bench at least. Lawson has not been at his best for a while now and Jordan and SBJ seem to be very similar players.

Matt Hall again the stand-out player for them.

We're still well placed and have to accept that we are going to lose games from time to time. Hopefully it won't be on the epidemic proportions of our last streak.

Come on you Blues!!

Poor performance but not a catastrophic result thanks to our recent run of results, so it would be harsh to be over critical. I'd like to see Wild, Boot and SBJ starting next week with Junior Luke waiting in the wings. Next 3 games are very winable, and a return of 7/9 points would see us still in the thick of it

Thought it was all very flat, Hastings scored, we didn't respond, they put two infront of their back four and we never looked like breaking them down.

Recently we have been attacking right up to the last whistle, but Saturday we never really got going, can't help thinking that Tuesdays extra time took our accustomed edge off the team.

There are 33 points up for grabs so a lot of football still to be played, and we are right in the mix.:chestram2:

Not much more to add to what's been posted already was a disappointing performance but after winning 9 and drawing 1 of the last 10 games would be harsh to complain.

Hopefully this week off gives the players a chance to recharge the batteries and they will be raring to go on Saturday.

Another decent result last night for us with Wealdstone and Tonbridge drawing . Long way to go still , and we were/are always going to lose games. If we can get back to winning ways saturday then it keeps us very much in the hunt .

We have been on a fantastic run and i am sure we will go again .
