Molesey were undone by two errors.

 

First our 'keeper had a moment of madness and got himself sent off after only 30 odd minutes (after saving a penalty!) meaning we had a centre back in goal for the rest of the game and then with just ten minutes to go our centre mid playing at centre back messed up a header back to our "keeper" and allowed them to score the winner.

 

Molesey showed real grit by playing right till the end and hitting the post in the last minute.

 

This by no means we are out of the title race... If we won all our remaining games we will win the leagues so time to keep our heads up and show some character.

 

Officials were awful today, bullied by Guildford for most of the game and the far side linesman made 4 or 5 poor decisions, but that isn't why we lost.

 

I'm pleased with how we played and I'm still confident of Molesey promotion

dorking 1 wembley 2 dorking 1.0 up half time and cruising then reduced to ten men five minuites into restart, two stupid yellow cards, then gifted and i mean gifted them two goals, winner in 92nd minuite.why do i do this?

As often happens with top of the table clashes, this disappointed as a contest. Taking nothing away from Sports who dominated against a disappointing Farnham side. I can see why Sports are doing so well, tough organised side didn't really let Farnham settle at all and restricted them to just a few half chances. Lead arrived via a corner that was headed in and was doubled before half time with the no.10 shooting from some distance into the bottom right corner. Second half followed a similar pattern really and the third came from a penalty. Nice set up there, odd to hear the game going on next door at the same time! Are there plans to put in a stand to gain promotion?

molesey 1 Guildford 2 ,cracking game and great atmosphere ,agree with elf mole a very whistle happy ref and strange lino descisions ,its seems to me players cant takle each other anymore (not sure about the bullying bit ) from city ? theres still a long way to go with many twist and turns .

How do you work that out Elfie - do Molesey get 4 points for a win then?

 

If you win all your games you'll end up with 97 points the same as Chertsey can by winning all theirs - Guildford however can still get 102 by winning all theirs
