Richard Halle Signs For Concord

Have just seen that Concord have announced the signing of Richard Halle.

 

He'll be a good signing for them. Don't begrudge him the move really either. Whether you agree with it or not there was little chance of him playing in midfield ahead of Dobbo, Kingy, Matty Game, probably Kerrigan and the recovering Jon Edwards nor in defence ahead of Easterford, Moore, Wardy and Alaile if we keep hold of him......

 

 

Still won't stop me abusing him for 90 minutes next month though!!! :grin: :grin: :grin:

Good luck to Richard. One of the friendliest players at Canvey. Hope all goes well for him at Concord but will enjoy photographing him putting the ball in his own net for the winner next month.

I think it is a shame that he has signed for concord, I still think that he would have done a good job for us in midfield. I agree that there are players ahead of him,but I think that if he had broken into the team he would have played well and maintained his place. With Dobbo struggling with injury and not really able to play two games a week Halle would have been an ideal replacement/back up. Sometimes our midfield look a bit fragile when against some of the more physical teams in this league and we tend to get knocked off the ball too easy Halle always gave us that extra bit of 'bite'.

I agree that Halle is a really nice guy and I have had a few chats with him myself and had a few laughs and I wish him well except we he plays against us!!

I think it is a shame that he has signed for concord, I still think that he would have done a good job for us in midfield. I agree that there are players ahead of him,but I think that if he had broken into the team he would have played well and maintained his place. With Dobbo struggling with injury and not really able to play two games a week Halle would have been an ideal replacement/back up. Sometimes our midfield look a bit fragile when against some of the more physical teams in this league and we tend to get knocked off the ball too easy Halle always gave us that extra bit of 'bite'.

We have a better squad now and to be fair we will not miss his fouls and games missed by suspension. Harsh i know but the stats show his decepline issues.

Yeah good luck to Rich, he is a nice bloke and a good footballer. Personally I feel we've pushed on this season with the squad we have, and as harsh as it sounds, I'm not sure what Rich would add to it? As I've just put on Facebook, with everyone fit I'd see him as 4th choice centre back behind Mooro, Easterford, and Wardy (maybe 5th when I see a bit more of Alaile), and 4th choice central midfielder behind Dobbo, Game, and Kingy. Also, as others have said, his discipline (or lack of it at times) let him down too often with us.

 

He's written his name into the history of the club by scoring a penalty in the playoff final shootout, and I do wish him all the best for the future (except against us when I hope he get's Dobbo'd!)

I like Rich, great player to have in your squad!

 

A good servant, to CIFC, cant see him getting loads of football but he will add to the atmosphere.
