Away victories in games between play-off contenders provided three of the candidates for the Division One North award and it was Enfield Town who took the honours with an impressive 6-0 romp at Brentwood Town. Potters Bar were involved in the other two; a 3-1 win at Romford and a 4-0 home defeat by Waltham Abbey. This is the only one of the monthly awards for which cup performances count so Maldon & Tiptree’s 2-0 success at Fleet in the Championship Manager Cup quarter-finals was also mentioned.
