FC Windsor/Windsor FC/Windsor Town FC

Seems that will be one of the names of our new local rivals. Windsor Town does not sound right to me but I think that may be the one.

Who cares anyway. They will be in the Hellenic League (or below) IF they start next season anyway.

I heard they might have problems with the crown estates, I hope not....for their sake...

Guess cost, the Observer article states the Crown want £5,000 for the tenancy plus a business plan compared to the peppercorn rate they had previously.

Yep the crown estates I heard also want some outstanding money too...

 

guess they can ask as they are involved with the new club too...

 

I hope they can sort it out ....quicker they can get back to playing football..

surely as w&e were wound up and there fore any debts owed were going to be handled by a third party,or still owed by mr simpson the crown estates would have no claim for old debts on the new"company" visa vie windsor town.

True but if the Crown know the same people are involved they are within their rights to ask that before the new company trades they are paid 'X' to make up for the losses. We follow the same process at our place with companies who go bust then re-emerge as a phoenix with the same directors.

HT the "team from Windsor" have now got a reputation of running up a debt of over £250,000 and then not paying- how keen would you be to trade with them?
