Feltham 1 - 5 Cobham

 

Good result for us last night in a game where, if we had applied ourselves properly for the whole 90 and taken our chances, we would have hit double figures. Still a good result considering our current injury list (coupled with our reserves also playing last night) which resulted in the bench being made up of some management and our youth GK who came on as an outfield player.

 

We actually played our best football in a very good first half yet only scored twice, then let our standards drop in the second, but scored three, with some of those actually after we had been under a bit of pressure.....as the saying goes, "it's a funny old game"!

 

Fair play to Feltham who never gave up and battled to the end, when other teams would have just rolled over.

It was 5 YHW. Very very poor Feltham performance! Amazing what just over two weeks without a game or training does to a side, we were playing well before than showing, but hey, take nothing away from Cobham who played some fantastic stuff at times.

 

It was very very painful to watch on the sidelines
