Cup draw info please??

El records premier challenge cup

 

Now we know all four teams left in the competition:

 

Wembley

Mole valley

Sandhurst

Farleigh rovers

 

1/ Was just wondering does anyone know if the draw has been done for

semi's.?

 

2/ if not when they will be?

 

3/ when they are due to be played?

 

4/ where is the final?

 

If anyone can help with any of this info would be much appreciated.

Not sure of all the facts, and sure someone will correct me if I am wrong, but to answer your questions

 

1) Draw hasn't been done yet

 

2) I think the draw is going to be made next week

 

3) There was talk at the club on Tuesday that they will be in the last week of March

 

4) This one i know to be correct - final is on Friday 6 May at Farnborough FC

 

With Camberley and Molesey getting knocked out, reckon all four of the remaining sides will really fancy there chances now.

Great for the competition to have different teams in the semis and as much as i dont know Farleigh there are some great people at all three of the premier CCL teams so one of them may get a good reward for all their hard work over the years.

 

Probably not such good news for the League though as a gate of 700+ is unlikely now which would have helped the bank balance

and great for football and the ccl that the final wont be contested by the obvious front runners of the CCL prem.

 

Sandhurst 6th place

Mole Valley 11th place

Wembley 17th place

Farleigh Rovers 11th place in div 1

 

Cove did the same with Bedfont last season. Cove finished 11th and Bedfont 12th.

 

If you look at all the previous seasons you will see that the finalists were always in the top 4. Nice to see the lower down clubs getting silverware!

Cheers for the info people. Well I'm hoping that we farleigh can make the final would be good for the club and the ccl.

 

B&WA .... GOOD FOR THE CCL ? ISN'T IT THE CCL LEAGUE CUP SO ALL CLUBS ARE IN THE CCL .......LOL !

Nice guy, what I meant by good for cfl is that it's not the better teams playing for place in final so it's show really how tight both division actually are that's what I meant.

I hope Sandhurst get to the final. I'm going there no matter what as it's local and I've enjoyed the last two finals so it would be nice to have a team in it I have a bit of a feeling for (ooo er).

That's not being rude to the other sides but I haven't really got any links or views on them either way whereas I've always had a likeness for Sandhurst Town and known a few of their players.

I don't know if Briggers is the MVSCR tweeter who I spoke to after the game on Tuesday but, as I said to him - good luck in the semi and final unless you're playing Sandhurst.

He's going to be decent! Looked very good the couple of times i've seen him.

 

they are cousions... Billy is a relation of mine Dan... Played vs us pre-season for AFC.

The draw for the Semi-finals of both the EL Records Premier Challenge Cup and the Grant-McLellan Youth Cup will be made tomorrow (Sat 5 March) by Mr. Jim Taylor, the Chairman of Middlesex County FA and I will put it on the forum either Saturday evening or on Sunday.

 

The Semi-finals of the Premier Challenge Cup will take place on either Tuesday 29 or Wednesday 30 March and the Final, as previously announced, will be at Farnborough FC on Friday 6 May.
