I'M H.A.P.P.Y.,I'M H.A.P.P.Y.

I'M H.A.P.P.Y,Reason I do not like BIG TIME CHARLIES,who think all they have to do is turn up and a lower division side will roll over.As tonight showed, all the pretty passing and great football was played by Molesey, but Farleigh were triumphant,a wonder move by glads3 and a worldly finish by Spencer9,and the awesome pace and trickery by Cameron Diaz sealed their victory.No.9 for Molesey was the best player on the pitch by miles, why he is playing at this level, astounds me,any scouts out there have a look.Richie Bull(shifty on fire)was awesome, crosses are his forte.

Tonights game showed me that the Gulf between Premier and Div 1 was miniscule, and closing fast.DO LOVE AN UNDERDOG,and Farleigh are the BEST TEAM IN THE LEAGUE.Nice people also, and your hospitality was First Class.ACKERMAN WAS THE PLAYER WHO MENTIONED YOU TUBE,BIG IN THE 60'sI think his second name was bilk.

Top 4/5 teams in Div 1 would all be comfortable playing in the Prem. No question. Hanworth Villa and Mole Valley have made the transition to the prem look easy in recent seasons. I think this point will be further proved by teams promoted at the end of this season. Results this season such as Farleigh with their run in the Prem Cup, Warlinghams run in the FA Vase and South Park comfortably beating Horsham YMCA in the FA Cup and suffering a narrow defeat to Ryman Prem side Cray in the next round, shows the quality of the sides in Div 1 at the moment. Having watched games from both leagues this season i dont think its unfair to say that the bottom sides in the prem would probably be sitting mid table at best in Div 1.

Totally agree with your First post bettathaninesta, not forgetting 3 sides still in Surrey Senior Cup,Molesey,Colliers Wood,Raynes Park Vale flying the C.C.L. Flag,And not forgetting South Park who have reached the Surrey Premier Final, all in all a good showing.THINGS ARE IMPROVING IN C.C.L. LONG MAY IT LAST.

The gulf is the same all the way down the non-league pyramid. I think the top eight or so sides in the CCL would be more than comfortable in the Ryman South and certainly wouldnt get relegated. It's the same old problem between promotion/relegation and ground grading. I'm sure the top five or six Div 1 sides would be fine in the Prem but although Hanworth and Mole Valley have done well, Dorking struggled previously and Hartley went straight back down. The top few in the Middlesex Prem would also survive in the CCL Div 1. There is no doubt that some Ryman Prem teams would survive in the Conference South but again promotion is so limited. One off games are one thing but consistancy over a season is another and ground grading keeps coming back to haunt Clubs looking to progress and on the other hand saving Clubs that really should be relegated-its this stagnation that doesnt help the non leagues as it is hard to get crowds up and drive into Clubs and communities when the same games happen year on year
