The MISA committee would like to thank all the supporters who took time out on a particularly awful afternoon/evening weather-wise to show their feelings

about the delay in planning consent re the Hartsdown development; not to forget the very future of the club. Thanks also to those who were unable to attend

but sent their best wishes.

 

Whether the meeting has any bearing on a change of heart by TDC/Planning Dept. is, of course, unknown. But what would have been crystal clear to the

councillors present was the body of opinion behind the development and the knowledge that this was just the latest stage in our fight to gain a football stadium

that all the people of Margate will be proud of. We will not go away.

 

Keith Piper has promised a petition amounting to 10,000 signatures, a testing prediction indeed! Being a fifth of the way there suggests it is attainable.

 

Please, please all of you out there do your very best to help to fill the forms.
