End of season walk

Haha, hope she will not put me to shame as I am just starting running again after 4 weeks off after the half marathon!

Any other 'mad' takers for a run? Only 4.5miles to the White Horse from Wexham Park, which should be about 45minutes. Will probably just join the walkers at the pub and stroll to Holloways Park from there afterwards with them.

I think she's quite a good runner! She's in training for a half iron man next year!!

Two routes sorted. One off road, the other on roads - some of which are a bit iffy but will make for easier running I think.

If anyone wants them before hand, leave me your email addresses on a pm

Road route is 7 miles, off road a bit less, but not much.

A 10.30 start will leave plenty of time for recuperating in the pub, before undertaking the shorter second stretch.

Having just mapped the route on a running route site...maybe a little longer than 45 minutes as it is all uphill, 200ft in about 4 miles, so will have to see how steep it gets!

Good luck to the walkers and cyclists, see you at the pub!

Well done to all who completed the walk/run/cycle today!

Claire and I completed the run in 75minutes (about 6.8miles) plus a 15minute stop at the White Horse, which is pretty good pace considering it is pretty much all uphill from Wexham to the pub, and it was very hot today!

Well done to all the walkers, runners and cyclists today.

Was a very pleasant walk in the sunshine, with a very civilized stop for beer and lunch.

Now all you need to do is collect your money and pass it on to Alan Harding, although only a short walk, the number of participants should mean a decent sum for the chairty and the Trust.

Thanks to all those who helped keep Scarlett entertained and walking.

Well done to all who took part. Me and Andy cycled 25 miles to get to Holloways Park then cycled 8 miles back to mine afterwards! Claire (nutter) ran back to mine after the game!!

Definitely mad, I was knackered after the run to the ground! She did convince me to run from the pub to the stadium though.
