well done to Bethnal Green for getting the match on today, the conditions suited us better than them, thankful for the three points and although their pitch has taken a battering at this time of the season surely we all have to stop 'saving' pitches and get matches played, well done also to the ref for showing commonsense.

Thanks B-D, Gaffa deserves a lot of credit for working tirelessly to get the game played, it's a bit unfortunate it backfired as far as the result but that's football and well done Basildon for a dogged display. Would agree the Ref did very well in the circumstances, I personally didn't think the pitch was playable at 2 o/c particularly in line with games I'd seen posponed in recent seasons. However the Ref to his credit gave the game every opportunity to take place, it wasn't perfect but it was the same for both sides and was by no means a lottery as you might have predicted. Conditions did actually improve and a proper game of football took place so there can be no complaints. Didn't realy suit Bethnal as stated but It's all about adapting at this stage of the season and all in all Basildon did that better and took their chances when they came along. Does make me wonder if more pitches would have playable today with a little

more effort and willingness to play from all parties and that includes the officials but that's just speculation.

Great day for Stansted without even playing- how I hate that Fecking Never Been.

Burnham 2-0 Enfield

Thoroughly well deserved win for the Ramblers-could actually have been more.Outstanding display of passing and movement-hard to believe it was the same side more or less so poor at Eton Manor on Monday.Enfield struggled to cope with Lloyd Wilson all afternoon; and Jack Parr in goal was a commanding presence, which made a difference second half when Enfield upped their game.

Shocked by your result, but understand what you are saying. @ Bowers so much effort was put in to geting the game on to prove a point that I don't think anyone considered who it suited? Hullbridge kicked and fought and ran at short options in numbers, Bowers tried to run wth the ball and play to feet. Result - the kick and rush worked, the pass and move got stuck in the mud. Too many Bowers moves faltered because the ball held up or wouldn't bounce, pretty don't work when you're up to your knees in mud.

Wouldn't mind, but when I looked at the starting lineups I thought it would be a walkover because the decent 'bridge ball players were missing - just shows you that you need to adapt to the conditions.....

Now,Now lets not get personel, I was going to go to the BGU game but decided to stay in the warm, spoke to Terry who went and to Flip Flop after the game and both gave the same account.

Was a good day for Stansted, lets hope we can get a win on Monday to close the gap on Enfield.

come on you Blues,

LOL. I'm sorry for my Gooner mates but as Brum beat us in the semis I'm glad they won.

If ever it needed highlighting that Arsenal need a keeper and a Centre Half, that winning goal was it.

I was there and how defalting it was! However I think the keeper is very good but very young. Everyone makes mistakes and if he goes the rest of his career making very few mistakes then no one will be saying we need a keeper! The centre half on the other hand needs addressing!
