Urgent - Letters of support

PLEASE can you find the time a.s.a.p to write in to the council with your own personal letters of support on the deveopment issue. I believe a meeting is being held next week so if your letters can be sent in before then or even delivered by hand to the council it might help our cause.

In other words letters to the Council in support of the redevelopment proposal so long as they are constructive and reasoned arguments:

heritage of the club, community work, publicity for the town, more high quality leisure facilities, etc.

There may also be some concerns about public blogging on a specific planning application by the Council Cabinet Member with responsibility for planning.

It would be good if people picked their own particular area of interest as the focus of their letter rather than everyone writing the same thing.

Letters should be addressed to Councillor Robert Bayford or Chief Executive Richard Samuel at Thanet District Council, PO Box 9, Cecil Street, Margate, Kent, CT9 1XZ.

Maybe after sending in one you could post on here what kind of letter you have sent to try to avoid too many duplications on a particular subject.

An assortment is what is important if you get my drift.

Just a title will do i.e Blog,Heritage,Publicity etc.

I realise there isnt much time before next weeks meeting but IF you COULD manage to drop one into them I'm sure it will help in some small way..who knows!

Even if they get in AFTER that time they will STILL be appreciated & I'm sure will still be looked at.

Of course letters alone wont get us a favourable result but they sure will & indeed SHOULD help.

Thanks all
