What ever prompted Coookie to play 4-3-1-2 last night? Has he been reading the Bedford message board?

 

Play Tomlinson 'in the hole' yes, but not with two up front, McDonnell or Martin (who I thought was playing well last night) will do. Glynn and Castle both looked off the pace in midfield and Deacon was fairly anonymous (imo).

 

Back to 4-4-2 would be my advice for the next one, hopefully with Oakes and Graham in the starting line-up, maybe Wraighty as well.

I don't know anything about football, but I, too, prefer 4-4-2, Rob.

 

Last night both sides were playing the opffside trap well and as a result, there was a lot of whistle and a lot of people in the middle third of the pitch.

 

Too many players had a bad day at the office, which didn't help.

 

Roll on Stortford!
