Johnny Martin

After going through some of the posts on here, it would appear that John Martin is used as a left back.

I also notice that he was a sub against Thurrock, so obviously has not taken the place by storm.

Just a couple of questions.

WHY is he being played at left back. He was always a left or central midfield player at Orient and has he played in that position for yourselves?

Do you know how long his contract is with you lot. I know he was at Farnboro on a non-contract basis before coming to Hornchurch?

Johnny Martin he's my hero, la la la-la la, la-la la la

He has impressed alot of people myself included the only problem for Jon is that we have a player called Jon Keeling on the left of midfield who is a marvel with the Ball and is keeping Jon out of the side.

He has played for us alot of the season as left back but didn't play last nice and Danny Karrigan played instead he came on in the second half though.

He's a quality guy.

He's got a real eye for creating space and sometimes his passing ability was superb.

The amount of times I can recall seeing Johnny run through the middle unmarked but the rest of the team not having the brains to play him in.

Makes you wonder why the manager got rid when you look at some of the rubbish we have at the moment.

If we carry on we could be playing you next year!

Played quite well yesterday though!
