Loads and loads and loads of CDs and vinyl. Too many to list here. Oh, and a new job would be nice too.

 

Actually, I'm really considering asking for a set of mixing decks, so that I can start up a proper vinyl collection and learn how to mix records. Anyone know anything about them? ie what a reasonable price to pay would be and what sort of decks are good for a beginner.

Technics are usually a good start for mixing turntables. I brought some decks in 1992 and they were about £300 (I think) but I think you can get them cheaper now!

I'd look on a DJ website, get a good idea and then take a look on e-bay!

Failing all of those things I guess Virgin and HMV vouchers would be useful!

 

Chubby on the decks front, I know Richer Sounds in Watford sell reasonably priced DJ kit, but I really don't know to what standard, I guess it doesn't matter too much if you're a beginner.
