3G/4G Pitches

Bizarrely you can play in the Europa League, Champions League, European Championships and World Cup on 3/4G pitches but not in the English Football League or FA Cup, or EVEN the B&B Cup. Although you are still allowed to play on Bracknell's pitch in all those competitions!!!!!!

I remember hyde United had one of those old astro pitches, sandpaper on concrete, that put everyone off artificial pitches. Having played on these new pitches I do find them very tiring in the legs and take a little getting used to, but I guess all pitches are different. But surely more and more teams are training on these pitches (hence Windsor looking to get 3g/4g training pitches) so surely they will become the norm soon.

I would love to see someone take a stand and have one of these pitches installed and demand an explanation as to why they can't use it, but a very brave move to take.....

Just like to say good luck for the forthcoming season and maybe we'll get to play you sometime soon
