After work i went along to the dripping pan last night to see Lewes beat Tonbridge in the FA Cup.

Both really good skillful attacking sides. Both keepers saved penaltys including one called Dominique Jean-Zepherin, who some rebels might remember. He had a really good second half and the whole team looked really confident. On this performance and from what I'm hearing from Lewes supporters (i live with one.arghh) they are gonna walk the league.

What amazes me is how they have turned it round from the sleepy Sussex team of a few seasons back that no one really cared about to a team with a large and vocal support, tonnes of youngsters (both girls and boys) wearing tops etc. they've become the heart of the Lewes community.

So when/if we get to Kennedy Park lets hope new people start flooding back as we head back to the Conference and we start getting the thousand plus crowds of not so long ago.

Yes Lewes are serious title contenders, but we are only 6 games in and remember what happened to Wealdstone last season!!
