Park came out the stronger 2nd and got the deserved win against a Cobham team that keeps getting younger and younger ( apart from Jurgs ) the average age of there side must of been 20 if not younger. Stupidity in the 90+ minute will cost are centre mid a place in the final, after a late tackle which was a yellow at least, he wouldn't leave it there and was throwing his head around in people faces, silly silly boy.

I pretty sure its Weds 16th March @ Carshalton Athletic v AFC Wimbledon Res or Met Police Res who play this Saturday. Personally i hope its AFC Dons, two reasons i reckon it will be a bigger crowd and our assistant manager is a big AFC fan.

No mate he didnt play cup tied, think he must of played in Surrey Senior Cup (which i think rules him out of the final). Hopefully he will make his debut on Sat, he's very good signing for us, if only he had some pace

Couldn't argue with any of that Molly. Felt the first half was pretty even, but you were the stronger side in the second half and deserved the victory and will just reiterate what I said last night and say good luck in the final (second season in a row we have lost the S/F now so pretty gutted to say the least).

 

You probably aren't far off with the average age last night and think it showed in our performance overall. Unfortunately injuries and suspension/unavailibilty came at the wrong time for us with regards to this game and when that happens we have no option other than to put an even younger side out than usual (even if it does include me!!).

Not going to lie...........I have been asked by the Chairman to help the current management but not in a capacity i'd be totally happy with and feel that it would be unfair on the current guys there so, no, i'm not at Banstead. I have tried to help them with a couple of players but I have just been out watching a few games and players. With regards to any plans they have, I have heard the rumours as much as everyone else probably has but a lot of clubs talk about redevelopment all the time and it hardly ever happens in most cases. Suppose it's just a case of seeing what happens

 

As regards to David Smith, i presume you will have to ask him but it seems as though he wants to enjoy his football and that is currently at South Park.

So Mr Nice Guy, do you actually know much about Southpark and where there ambition lies? Have you been down to Whitehall Lane to see the development that is going on down there to quetions Dave Smith's move to the team '2 divisions below'.

 

Dave himself has said he wasnt enjoying his football and it was time to move on to a club where he has been friends with the manager since he began senior football where he played under him as a young teenager. Southpark is a good, solid club based on players from the local area, all good friends and have ambtions to go forward together. The average age of the team bar 2 or 3 players (Sorry Moly11 haha) is around 21 years old.

 

If things go to plan this year, they will win promotion and are already in one cup final not to mention another semi final.

 

You should head down to Southpark somtime to watch a game.

 

Just let the boy enjoy his football!

Agree with everything said about the game.

 

Very poor first half only a couple of good saves from Jurgs brightened it up. Second half South Park were better side. Seemed to be a lot fitter and stronger than Cobham and only a string of fine saves from Jurgs kept score down. End of the game was the most stupid sendings off. One men on each side in last action of the game. Definate sendings off and could have been another. SP number 10 looked very, very dangerous.

 

Considering the £5 entry fee for a player and club member I wonder what the fee was for the general public. Can't possibly have been the same could it? Since the officials are so frosty with me I may as well give them something to be frosty about.

The 10 dan? Thought the 9 was there main threat, a top player. They wanted it more.. Both sides were a bag of shyte and on the strength of that performance alone I see no way either side will be near the top 3 come the end of the season.
