Listen don't knock Enfield supporters, at least they get behind their team, both home and away, and pull in the crowds. This helps other clubs in the ESL when they play away, it gives much needed funds.

 

Personally, I can't wait for Enfield fans to come along to Eton Manor. I know the funds generated will ensure a reasonable gate and lets be honest every pound helps at this level.

Reminds me of a conversation I overheard at Edgware. One old Edgware fan was explaining to another how they were playing the Enfield Town 1st team that day and that ETFC also had a 2nd team playing in the Ryman league. Thought about correcting him but then realised that he had it just about right.

And some newspapers still have the F A Cup draw including Enfield Town v Carshalton and at Hendon on the same day so, with two bites of the cherry we could come good .... by the way, Burnham Ramblers will be playing St Margaretsbury of the Spartan South Midlands League.

Every good wish to Burnham Ramblers in that one. I reckon they have a better chance than Town of progressing but we'll do our best to win.

 

Eton Manor are a nice club and I too look forward to the trip to Burnham. Might want to be greedy about the points though and not share them next time!

to be fair they werent that good against us but as we are so inconsistent nothing surprises anyone down at the abbey. They scored a goal to win any game , corker 25 yard volley in the dying minutes, Jim Chandler will tell yer, we had our rally but on the day they knicked it. We dont tell anyone we are the bollx when we know our station....shame other people get carried away........ESFL for christs sake......
