I am really looking forward to attending Concord Rangers V Canvey Island tonight as I am sure a few of the other guys from this forum.

 

However, I am concerned about rumours that the 'Canvey Mob' are out looking for trouble. The 'Canvey Mob' are an infamous group on the island who 'run' The Monico club. The 'Canvey Mob' are not associated with either of the teams in question, they are merely mindless thugs who enjoy bloodshed and violence. It is feared tonights game will be used to send a public messgae that the mob, last heard about in the late 80's, has reformed and are ready to take back what they feel is theirs.

 

Eric has underground connections on the island from his days working construction on the Waterside site. Once tonight is out the way Pitsea and then Wickford are targets.

 

Will Concord Rangers have taken sufficient precaution to keep these hooligans at bay? I want to know if it is safe to take my girls along with me.
