WALES V ENGLAND

For the second time this season the FA have decided that an England International should be played on the same day and time as Ryman Premier fixtures, surely between the league and FA they can realise that this is crippling clubs,we played canvey earlier in the season on a Tuesday night when England played and lost around 200 through the turnstile, hardly helping the smaller clubs.

In light of this and the fact that many people will probably Want to watch the England game, how about the clubs and league put all the Ryman Premier fixtures back 24 hours to 3pm Sunday 26th(we are at Margate)

Would also give us a chance to watch the England match in our clubhouse and make a few quid over the bar on top

Yes, agreed, this makes far too much sense.

When that idea is booted into the long grass then an early kick off to enable at least those clubs playing at home to benefit can also be ignored.

To be honest we don't have a game the following Tuesday so it would be ok in that sense, hopefully someone will follow up on this idea and let me watch England.

If not obviously a 1pm or 5pm kick off on the Saturday but to me that would be too much messing about

Couldn't give a stuff about England. I wouldn't not attend our fixture just to watch them but realise that other people will want the choice of being able to watch both matches.

Anything to improve attendances is a good idea.

To be fair to the FA, England are away so really it is a Welsh FA (FAW) fixture. Why would the Welsh FA give a f*ck about english pub teams? For what its worth i'm off to Cardiff, hope I do not bump into Macey. He seems a bit scarey on the englandfans forum :)

I wouldn't call him scary,I think he is quite quiet lol

Whether the welsh FA arranged the fixture or not,our FA have known about it for months and no senior fixture should take place while the national team are playing, wherever they are playing.Every fan should be able to watch their team without a conflict of interest with the national team.Fans of clubs like arsenal, man utd & eest ham don't have the same conflict so why should non league fans

I have never met him, although I think he goes to most away games. It is a shame that non league football goes through this all the time as I would like to go to Grays as well. As you say perhaps the Isthmian league could have a standard kick off time on the sunday? I'm pretty sure the date for the wales game was set before the Ryman fixtures come out, although not sure. The one good thing is that I have a season ticket so the club will not miss my gate money. Only one of my GAFC mates got a ticket in the England ballot, but at least the others can send me updates from Rookery Hill!

How about sticking to the good old International midweek match day of Wednesday instead of trying to squeeze every last penny out of the average punter and jumping in on our slot! Problem solved!! (On about the Tuesday night International fixtures by the way)

Again, a common sense solution - again it will never happen

Not sure why Wales v England is on a Saturday. Some of the other England qualifiers have been on a Friday night.

I suppose the police don't want it on a Friday evening.
