Good grief what on earth has happened to Rugby Town? I didn't see this awful run coming...

Went to see Burnham V's Rugby today as did 10 or so other Slough fans. First half Rugby were very poor, second-half they dominated the game but came up against Dave Tilbury and Will Dunlop who were outstanding for Burnham today I thought. Adrian Sear also impressed after being out so long with injury.

Apparently Atherstone lost another five first teamers in the week and they were replaced by kids.

 

As for us today.....pathetic! If today's anything to go by......see you in the playoffs again. Unless you can stop Man City!!!!!

 

p.s. Saw Rugby at Man City last Tuesday evening. A shadow of the team that ended our unbeaten run. They'll find it tough to make the playoffs now.

We could well have done without this postponement It means we will be facing 6 play-off rivals in the last 6 weeks of the season We now have 4 games against the teams currently lying 12th 19th 20th and 21st and really must pick up the 12 points on offer Then we will have a realistic chance of the play-offs imo.

A good reason why you can't judge a team's chances on historic performance, like points per game. Every side will have good runs and bad runs, and this won't necessarily even out over the course of a season.

Also, I think I'm right in saying, at the time of playing them, this season or last season, we still have not beat a team that were in the top 5.
