A great game down at the Arena today. Shame about the result. The match officials were very good.

The Trams certainly were a much improved team as of late. They deserved a point at the very least, maybe even the full three points. Just a bit of slack defending at the end of the game.

On a different note ... lets hope Guildford, the League and the County FA do the correct things and kick him out of football !

I had a player run the lenth of the pitch and punch my goalkeeper in the mouth and head, last season,at junior level,we called the police as requested by surrey county fa,then they told us ( the club ) they could do nothing as it was a police matter. The offender got a police caution and a two week susspension from the league that started 4 weeks before the season started.

If the club have anything about them they will ban him for life and no other club will touch him.........Not needed in the game ...IDIOT...

The lad should never be aloud to play again. That is embaressing and so much for the respect campaign, what a joke. Guildford should have the book thrown at them. Hope the official is ok.

Great game at the arena, 5 goals and plenty of POOR defending.

WHAT HAPPENED YESTERDAY WAS INEXCUSEABLE NO DOUBT BOTH THE PLAYER WILL GET A HEFTY BAN AND FINE, THE CLUB WILL ALSO BE REPREMANDED AND RECEIVE A HEFTY FINE. I WONDER THO' IF GUILDFORD WOULD ACTUALLY BAN THE PLAYER FROM THEIR CLUB ?

LETS HEAR FROM GUILDFORD SWEENEY WHO IS ALWAYS HONEST WITH HIS MATCH REPORTS, ALTHO' I AM SURE THAT HE AND OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH GUILDFORD CITY ARE TOLD NOT TO COMMENT ON THE SITUATION.

IT WILL EVENTUALLY COME OUT WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED, BUT WHILST WE FIND IT OH SO EASY TO SLAG OFF REFEREE'S, IN WHICH IS A DIFFICULT JOB IN ITSELF, ARE WE ACTUALLY SURPRISED WITH THE DWINDLING AMOUNT OF REFEREE'S AND UP AND COMING YOUNG REFEREE'S WHEN YOU HAVE IDIOTS LIKE THIS ''ALLEDGED'' PLAYER WHO DONE WHAT HE DID. PERHAPS NOW WE SHOULD TAKE A DEEP BREATH, COUNT TO 10 BEFORE WE COMMENT ON REFEREE'S PERFORMANCES IN FUTURE, AND REMEMBER THIS ''ALLEDGED'' INCIDENT, COS WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE ''ALLEDGEDLY'' KICKED AND PUNCHED IN WHAT THE REFEREE'S CALL A ''HOBBY'' !

Will simply reiterate what I said last night that we are all shocked and saddened. The incident is under investigation and we, along with our playing staff, have offered our full support and cooperation to that investigation.

THANKS AS USUAL GS. IS THERE GOING TO BE A CLUB STATEMENT REGARDING THIS INCIDENT AND ARE YOU ALLOWED TO MENTION THE PLAYERS NAME CONCERNED WITH THE ''ALLEDGED'' ATTACK ON THE REFEREE ?

BE INTERESTED TO KNOW WHATS GUILDFORD CITY DISCIPLINE RECORD IS AS EVERY WEEK THERE'S EITHER A PLAYER BOOKED AND/OR SENT OFF BOTH FOR AND AGAINST GUILDFORD CITY...........WHY'S THAT I ASK ?

Eversley 3-0 Farleigh Rovers

2 goals from striker Darren Sked and his performance described as 'unplayable' by incumbent manager Ian Savage gave Eversley their first win in 3 games against fellow mid table side Farleigh Rovers. This game was certainley not all plain sailing though as Farleigh started with far greater purpose and attacking intent. Boars keeper Asen Ogov had to make three outstanding saves in the first 20 minutes to deny a rampant Farleigh.

Slowly the home side weathered the storm, found their feet and their passing game on a surprisingly good surface bearing in mind the amount of rain over the previous 24 hours. Then on 25 minutes Mat Stamp found the net for the 22nd time this season. Luke King energetically counterattacked from midfield finding Sked who swivalled and sent Stamp through with just the keeper to beat. A goal arguably against the run of play rattled Farleigh who bounced straight back but a solid defensive line kept the visitors out.

Eversley pace on the counter again caused Farleigh problems and just before half time Sked broke free from his marker and in a tangle with the Farleigh keeper was hauled to the ground. The referee saw in differently however and Sked was booked for his protistation.

The second half wholly belonged to the Eversley as the confidnece returned and and Farleigh tired. Woods, Stamp and Enrico Rossoni found more and more space and were a constant attacking thorn, complimented by the tireless Sked who was instrumental in most of the Boars good football. On 70 minutes it was 2-0 as Sked fired home a Woods cross and he then grabbed his second 8 minutes later after a mix up in the Farleigh defense let in Rossoni who laid Sked in to score his second and secure a welcome 3 points.
