Disappointed to say the least not with the game which was excellent ,not with the pitch which was excellent, but the lack of support from you so called NON LEAGUE SUPPORTERS.Nice and comfy in your armchair, you missed a great game.3 PENALTIES all given away by Cove, the first never a Penalty, the Referee was well placed and gave No Penalty,The Linesman who as usual waits for the REFEREE to point one or tother, suprised us all by putting his flag across his chest indicating a Penalty. Both the Cove Keeper and Martin Smith the Croydon forward arrived a the same time to the ball. However justice was to be served when the Cove Keeper flung himself to his right,to save Gareth Grahams well struck shot. The 2nd Penalty however was a blatant thigh high challenge by the Cove no.3 after Martin Smith had left him for dead inside the PENALTY AREA,RED CARD FOR SURE,LAST MAN AS WELL,BUT NO YELLOW.Scored by Leon McDowell. The 3rd Penalty involved the self same no.3,who was caught flat footed, and dived in,Penalty given but no 2 nd yellow.why not I know not.COVE FINISHED THE STRONGER TO WIN THE GAME,THINK A DRAW WOULD OF BEEN A FAIR RESULT.COVE'S KEEPER WAS OUTSTANDING IN EVERYTHING HE DID,AND THE BEST I HAVE SEEN THIS YEAR,ON THIS PERFORMANCE.,NO DUNCS.BUT NICE BUNCH THEM COVE BOYS!!!!!

I'm getting really confused with your editing of posts Smudge. GF seems to have just quoted your post and said nothing! Have you removed what he said or am I missing something?

TRS - Smudge edited (removed) what I said which was a comment on an aspect of his original post which he also removed.

There, that should clear it up smilewinkgrin.gif
