I was actually thinking exactly the same last night too Tom... I'm sure the statisticians will be along to confirm in due course.

Decent game which I thought we shaded, the ref was of Essex Senior League level at best, some of the decisions were awful, for both sides.

Enjoyable day, spoilt by the behaviour of some Wingate staff, whilst the handbags were being thrown around on the pitch at the end, certain stewards & in particular one individual that seemed to hold a higher position behaviour left a lot to be desired, all very embarrasing for him & his club.

Looking forward to Brentwood at home next Saturday.

 

What about Romford on Tuesday and Enfield 1863.25 on Wednesday?

After watching the COLD ENDS video highlights , it confirmed what I thought yesterday, the key referreeing decisions went against us.

 

1- Leon was fouled in the box in the first half , we should have had a pen.

2- their penalty was soft and harsh to say the least

3- Leon , may have had another penalty in the 2nd half , debatable though

4- Gio was wiped out after winning the tackle that led to their equaliser ( we should have been given a foul , for a late challenge )

 

Any other opinions ???

 

 

I was'nt at the game but agree totally with all 4 points you made above from the video evidence. He'll be very embarrassed If the referee views the Cold End clip's.

 

Gazza-I'm looking forward to the Brentwood home game next week too, but we are home to Romford on Tuesday and for good measure home to 1893 on Wednesday. Feast of football in Enfield.
