To clear surface water from the pitch at 9.30am,there is alot of water on the pitch but yesterday it was quite firm so it is hoped it can be cleared as the rain is supposed to slow down as the morning goes on,the more the Merrier needed to get this game on,bring a broom

Just popped back to the club,there are now loads of puddles on the pitch and it's getting worse,feels quite firm underneath but unless this rain stops fairly soon it's just going to get worse

That confirms the e-mail i got.............some strange bloke emptying drums of water on pitch and all the groundsmans tools have mysteriously disappeared.

Because the floodlight stroke has already been used, you are using the weather to get game pp, tut,tut.
