Mudge & Walton Go To Beaconsifled

Former Windsor & Eton FC management duo Dave Mudge and Byron Walton have taken up the reigns of Zamaretto League Central Division side Beaconsfield SYCOB.

 

Mudge and Walton will be taking charge as of today until the end of the season with a view to returning to Stag Meadow next season.

Great news for Beaconsfield, as they have IMO, the best management duo in the Southern League this season, and it's wonderful Dave and Byron have found a club for the rest of this term. I have never been there before, but I will certainly be paying a visit or two in the coming weeks.

 

Don't get too comfortable at the other end of the A355 though gentlemen, and please don't forget where Stag Meadow is, providing Windsor has a football club again next season!

Not convinced it's such a great move for Beaconsfield, a short-term solution with the potential of losing lots of players in the Summer to AFC Windsor & Eton...

If Dave and Byron intend on returning to Windsor (please not AFC anywhere in the name, urrghh!!) this would be the best possible result for Windsor. I would agree with Green Pea a short term fix with a potentially large sting in the tail. That is, of course, unless they feel they will want to stay once they have managed there.....
