Sad Story

Thanks for your kind words on here guys, I have not wanted to comment about this sad sad news untill it became public knowledge as we at the club knew too little regarding the circumstances and did not see it as our place to go public with it.

 

Needless to say all at our club are affected by a tradegy like this and can not begin to think how the young mans family can cope with the loss they have suffered.

 

I spoke to Lee Nicholls regarding the news on the wednesday night and he was deeply upset understandably just days after being so proud to see the young man make the step to reserve team level and play a fine game earing himself another call up and plaudits around the club for his performance. We at Chessington are a close knit bunch with a real enthusiasm for youthfootball and nothing gives more pleasure than to see young players progress in to senior football through our club and this young man was a shining example of this.

 

Nothing we say or do is nearly enough and on behalf of everyone at Chessington and Hook all we can promise is that the young man will never be forgotten.
