I have heard some rumours regarding the Manager's position at Witham Town FC. They have informally approached Jody Brown, currently in charge of Redbridge FC, to take over. Jody has experience of the Ridgeons League which Witham Town would like to enter as of the 2011/2012 season. They have only invited him to have an interview with otehr candidates but he is a 90% favourite for the job.

 

On another note, I am sorry to say that, I appear to be being mimicked by someone going by the name of Phillip Hart. This troublemaker has targetted Stansted FC so there is an obvious grudge there which can only be traced back to Takeley, Sawbridgeworth or Witham Town.

 

I have concrete evidence confirming Stansted FC do not have a playing budget and the reason they feel so offended by suich accusations is clear, it simply undermines their achievements to date. The big spenders thus far have been Witham Town and Enfield FC. Both excellent teams with experience in abundance. I look forward to seeing how the rest of this season plays out.

 

The truth is out there but it does not come from Philip Hart. I would advise people just ignore this character on concentrate on my rumours that are far more factual and enlightening.

 

On a personal note I have decided to take a break from Aveley FC as the recovery under Carl Griffiths has not taken place just yet. I know this makes me look like a plastic fan but I cannot justify paying over £15 a week to watch a team full of strangers. I have decided to take more interest in this league because it is cheaper and there is a community to get involved here on this very forum.

Thanks Basil-Don that is good of you to say. I know we have had some differing opions but I am more then happy to let bygons be bygons. I may even cheer Basildon's first goal this week

Now now Mark, play nicely. I'm delighted you and Basil Don have kissed and made up, as we have. Perhaps you will now, in the spirit of detente, remove him as a "Foe".

 

I may even pop next door to see you myself, as Basildon Town play just the other side of the Rugby pitch next to Bas Utd's ground.
