I'm going to assume (perhaps naively?) this is not a wind-up and set you right my aptly named friend.

Billericay's win over Hornchurch on Saturday was the featured game in our non-league round up on MONDAY, complete with photos and a fans' feature in the middle of the lions' share of space.

The preview of the Hasting's game was a page lead on TUESDAY, complete with a photo of Saturday's debutante Jordan Hiibbert, and next to the story was another piece with comments from your chairman about how well your teams have done in reaching three semis in county cup competition.

And last night I got a late deadline and was at New Lodge until 10pm to cover the Hastings game, and it was the only one of our teams in non-league action on Tuesday to be included in WEDNESDAY'S edition of the paper.

So there you have it. A virtual Craig David's worth of coverage. Billericay always get at least as much of my attention as any of our other non-league clubs, Rick.

..my aptly named friend.

 Gets 'em every time. And I thought you were a serious Journo!

It's great that the Echo Newspaper has carried so much coverage. I wouldn't be aware of that as I only use the web-site, and that appeared to have been a little behind the times of late. So it was a serious point, with no "slight" intended.

Gazza, cheer up fellah! I couldn't possibly write an article for the Echo becasue:-

A) I'm still putting in all those fixtures in my Letts pocket diary, like you suggested (I'm a slow writer), &

B ) I wouldn't want to put JC_NonLeague out of a job.

"Rip it up and start again..."

Take two...

The Echo web-site seems a little sparse with it's coverage lately? As far as I can see there's been no Non League up-date sinc 9th Feb ie.. missing two rounds of RPL games and our continued resurgance?

Any reason for this?

Important Note:- This posting may contain nuts.

OK, I'm going to have to end the Q&A session, or my day job is going to suffer ('even more' I hear you cry...). The website hasn't been updated for four whole working days because of problems with our content support system. That, and the fact my pay masters thought you might want to part with 43p on a paper to enjoy some of my endless toil!

Just over eight shillings and sixpence? That's more expensive than Izal Hard ;)

Just joshing ya JC. Your doing a great job and I promise I'll buy a copy or two in future to help ensure your job security. Only problem I have with real 'papers now is you can't enlarge the Font. And my arms aren't long enough anymore to help me focus.

I make it seven days, by the way?

Hendon 1-0 Sutton. Result of the night surely?

And Sutton have a tough game Saturday at Tonbridge. Could do with Hendons form lasting 'till 5 o'clock Saturday as well and nicking a point or 3 off Lowestoft.
