In response to numerous requests, I detail the number of times that ESL clubs have reached the 3rd Qualifying Round of the F A Cup....and it makes for intriguing reading and the hope that, should our two clubs hit lucky, they are NOT drawn against a certain club ....

1994-95

as previously mentioned, the record was in 1993-94 when Canvey reached the 4th Q Rd .

Town have our work cut out to beat Carshalton but stranger things have happened before.

 

I have to say I would fancy Burnham Ramblers to beat either St Margaretsbury or Leighton Town but as they say it is the FA Cup

The last time Brimsdown Rovers had a decent run in the FA Cup it ended with a home defeat against St Albans City too. Although that has nothing to do with the ESL the Enfield Town v Carshalton Athletic tie will be the biggest FA Cup match at Goldsdown Road since then.
