Not sure if this has been raised before but think we have a two pronged problem here.

 

1. The 500 named petition is using lose of land and issuing of leases from the council to stop the artifical pitch being built.

 

This is being dealt with by Natalie Beldin at the council on 01843 577020 re 10/0115

 

2. The change to the hotel plan is down to the planning officer at the council rejecting it herself

 

It is under NM/TH/10/1088

 

The officer has initials TZ and despite the chap at the council telling me her name I could not pronounce it

Obviously no one at the council gives a flying f*ck about how big the hotel is, but it's a good excuse to try to scupper the whole scheme.

 

I can't help feeling the same about this and really think giving the council the smallest chance to stop the scheme dead in its tracks is a hugh mistake.

Excellent! The fight back begins!! Oh & if the council are after extracting more money from the club after all the thousands already made to them by the club by further delaying things then I for one will be writing to the highest authority to investigate.

I would urge others to do the same.

 

This is not right & is most unfair & it shouldn't be washed under the carpet. Fighting talk? Yes indeed! The fightback begins NOW!!

 

My message to the council... PLAY FAIR or take the consequences! It is YOU who will be paying for this in the end if investigastions prove to be simply a hindrance on your part & an attempt to extract yet more money from the club.

This is my own personal message & not the clubs. I for one will NOT see this quashed unchallenged.

 

 

I think this is a very valid point, and it is a must have for the go ahead. It NEEDS to happen!

Hello guys sorry I am slightly confused here, are we in favour of this "3G" pitch or not? Becuase like I said I'm confused.

Another thing I have to say is.. The council is a discrase! If they had let this go through a few years earlier we (Margate) would not be in this mess.

I hope I'm not the only one in thinking this. But if they did give the go ahead a few years ago, Margate most likely would not be in the Ryman Premier.

The club would have been at a high level of football (therefore making Margate known). This could have had a monumental effect on the so called "financial cricis" that Margate are in.

I could just be talking rubish but to me it would have made more sense for the council to do it than not! I mean the long term effects could have been a massive posotive... Don't you think?

No confusuin though the club WANT the 3G pitch and have been given permission for it as far as I know.
