Guernsey supply it all. All away teams will wear the agreed kit that the home side will supply, wash, iron and number. All warm up equipment will be on tap and that includes tops. Most special requirements will be available, within reason. We give our lads bananas, jaffa cakes and haribos before the game, but I don't think they would stretch to that to be fair!

Funny, but on Saturday we were forced to warm up over the fence at the recreation ground at Meadowbank as the Dorking chairman refused to let us and Bookham do it on the pitch. As we were running late, I forgot the haribos I normally give our pre-match and, as we were rubbish 1st half and, as my team talk was rather forceful, did the same with the half time packet. They got bananas and jaffa cakes, but not the haribos. I can now see the folly of such an oversight, as the result was not exactly what we wanted. Tactics, game plans, money, coaching badges forget them - it's the quality of sweets supplied that tips the balance! Still, two packets sitting in my bag for tonight and no excuses over the warm up. Also, I did do lucozade and still supply it on the odd occasion, but not as popular because of all the different flavours and people who have alternative tastes - plus, fizzy or non-fizzy? Personally, for me it was always a Mars Bar and a cuppa!

I might be wrong Manager but I think you are well within your rights to refuse to warm up outside of the clubs grounds. There insurance won't cover you for any injuries that are sustained on what let's face it will just be parkland. Are there any other clubs that do this? I know Hendon at wembley were told they had to let sides warm up on pitch and not on park out the back.

Not sure if insurance covers injury anyway SF, that was my impression when getting the charity match sanctioned.

What about grounds like Merstham and Cobham where you warm up outside?

And Brook House, Feltham, Chobham, Thatcham.

I'll add more as and when I remember places where I have had to warm up other than the playing pitch.

Never had to warm up on the rec at Dorking
