Didnt watch the game on saturday. Saw the first 10 mins but then had to pop off. Cove 1-0 down after 5 mins and had some shocking luck. Apart from missing several key players, Brown and Johnno suspended, Duff injured, Cardona (injured/rested), Noad unavailable, sean (injured) our centre back and captain for the day was injured and subbed 1st half. Forced to make another sub at half time thru injury and then another sub after 55 mins meaning all subs used. Keeper then gets injured in a tackle and our right winger goes in goal. 2-0 down but manage to pull it back to 2-2 before the pressure told and lost 2-3.

Cove not having any rub of any greens whatsoever.

Lets hope tomorrow night brings some luck although heavy rain forecast so game could be off.

Best team i've played against is probably Guildford but then i've seen chertsey a few times and they look the best. Molesey are very organised and got quality players. Not much between those 3 teams i would say.

He is still suspended NG this is in its way is quite a good time for us (don't meen results wise ) as we are playing a lot of previously untried lads, i would hate to think what our average age is at the moment but we had a couple of 16 and 17 year olds in on saturday and very well they did to,with injuries and suspensions so high at Cove we are glad for these youngsters to come in and get some usefull experiences for the future,

yes your right Kroons and don't let our reserve teams position in the league fool anyone, they are a very good young side who are learning all the time from Eric, as you know its not about where you finish as a reserve team its about bringing the youngsters through and getting them ready to play in first team.Who told you the game is off tomorrow ?

NiceGuy............ i hope to play tomorrow. Should find out today if i'm available or not....long story!

Greenfingers......... Feck off! and yes that was a bite. Only on the bench when certain ash managers never knew their [****!!****] from their elbow (ie:Tony Calvert). I was on the bench regularly that season but finished 13th so not surprised.

Duncs.......... i think Kroons statement of the game off was tongue in cheek! If i'm cleared to play tomorrow i will be down the pitch all day spiking it and getting it playable..... if i'm not then i'll be down there with the hose!

Right re reserve teams Duncs. There to prepare youngsters for 1st team action and to give 1st team players the chance to reagain fitness etc.

Hoping to be there tomorrow night weather and JJ's hose permitting ;)
