How long does it take to walk from the riverside staion to the ground? is there any bus routes or is it worth walking.

hi there dave here from thames street near the piza bars and river in castle hill 191s dep there and its about £1.50 return or 90p single. they only depart hourly say mon to fri 1230- 1330-1430- from the near the station. coming back on saturday there is a bus at 1650- prompt and last 191 back is 1750 prompt only limited stop green line run a limited stop service which i think is slightly higher priced. on eve games forget it last bus to ground 1830 and no return trips. however the green line run ireguarly and also maidenhead to windsor run close to ground maidenhead windsor windsor maidenhead only a limeted amount of journeys from accross the road i think you can hail them in buckerly ave and any stop towords windsor note no eve service on that and no late return from ground in evenings sundays and bank holidays. also what a draw in fac being another home one at stag meadow against welling united brings me back memeries of being thrashed at welling and watching tops of buses running through. take care

A very brisk 15 minutes from riverside station - more like 20 plus - best to get there early and have a few beers in the donkeyhouse by the station overlooking the thames.
