2 goals in 5 minutes won it for Ricay,we shaded the first half and should of gone in ahead,second half we were poor with mistakes being made too many times,it was hard to see exactly what went on with both goals but it looked like they simply wanted to put the ball in the net more than we wanted to keep it out!!!

Apart from that i didn't think ricay were that good but they got the 3 points

Cheers Ian,I actually feel better after seeing that table.can't believe we are still only 4 points off the play offs.We need to buck our ideas up and fast though because if we don't pick up again then soon we will be adrift.On a positive front I was speaking to Michael Spencer and he may be back in a couple of weeks,if we can beat Aveley and Hastings next two games we will be right in the picture again,annoying thing is,that if it wasn't for the break in December I think we would be up the top behind Sutton,I think that came at the wrong time and one or two players have struggled to get up to full fitness again

Think we need a change in the midfield as once again we run out of steam and ideas and failed to take control of the game for any length of time.

 

Still, we are not far behind 5th spot and hope, as always if you are an urchin fan,springs eternal.

im hoping todays loss, doesnt mean we are out of the run in for the play offs.

was disapointed to hear that we lost and didnt at least get a draw there.

because all the other teams in and around us seem incapable of putting decent runs together we are still well in the hunt.

Canvey are on a roll but i expect them to implode at some point and tonbridges defeat to croydon shows they can be just as woeful

no difference in the teams till the second half where we seemed to get out muscled and our big punt upfield which ricay won the high balls all day long hence we kept giving the ball away far to often putting our back 4 under continuous pressure resulting in ricay goals, tuesday nite v aveley is now no forgone conclusion as they picked up a tidy draw the weekend
