I have been advised that Chessingon & Hook v Ash United and Epsom & Ewell v Wembley are off due to waterlogged pitches

 

No further updates from me as I have to leave the house early today.

Totally amazed at these Postponements,more so the one at the Moatside.

they called the Epsom v cove match off in similar circumstances

Especially after reading El Gaffers comments in the Surrey Mirror about too many games on the Pitch.PROTECTIONISM?

TO BE HONEST ARE WE REALLY SURPRISED THAT CHESSINGTON & HOOK IS OFF !

 

ANY SIGN OF RAIN AND IT'S CALLED OFF IT'S RIDICULOUS ON HOW MANY GAMES THEY GET CALLED OFF, THEY SHOULD TRY AND DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEIR PITCH BUT THEN AGAIN ITS THE OWNERS WHO DECIDE IF THE GAME IS PLAYED OR NOT .......LOL !

 

LISTEN TO WHAT EL GAFFER SAID, HE AND THE PLAYERS COMPLAINED ABOUT THE PITCH SO IT'S OBVIOUS THAT THE ANY SIGN OF RAIN WHICH COULD RUIN THE PITCH ANY FURTHER SO IT'S CALLED OFF MUCH TO DETRIMENT OF E & E WHO HAVE PAID GOOD COFFERS TO USE THE PITCH ?

Was fine Wednesday,but was told it's prone to getting boggy,but we hardly had any rain.Although saying that,Redhill which is near the Moatside is off as well.

The Moatside pitch is in a pretty poor state right now.

 

As for C&H, is it not possible that this postponement is down to the death of one their young players earlier this week?

That would explain the tweet. Would have expected them to call the game off on Weds if that were the case ?

Dorking Ladies Quarter Final cup game for this afternoon called off at 11:00 today.

 

My report from Meadowbank this morning. is that after todays rain, Bookham at home on Tuesday evening could be very Iffy !
