Burger Ban?

Recommended Posts

Just read that Forest Green Rovers are thinking of banning the sale of Burgers at their Ground, due to the latest Medical Evidence linking Burgers to Cancer.Should Burgers be banned, would it see a further demise in Crowd Numbers,Burgers are after all a must at Football, well for 1 person I know anyway.

Burgers are not good for you, since Mc.D. opened in this Country there has been a 50% rise in obesity. One of my Friends who used to be a Big Burger eater, gave them up,and took up running instead,to get himself fit.He covered 4 miles in 35mins 41secs on his first attempt, not a bad time considering the weight he has to carry.Rumour has it he is trying to lose 2 stone, and break 30mins,I wish him well.

Yes, it was on our local news. The new owner of Forest Green Rovers is a vegetarian, and has banned red meat at the ground. Chicken and Turkey nuggets etc are still available apparently, as well as lots of healthy vegetarian options! FGR Supporters not happy!
