Daniel,James Griffin will be a hard act to follow, choose wisely. The reason I say that is on the 2 times I have personally met him,he has great Qualities that many Managers at this level do not possess.Approachable,Friendly,Honest,no big time Charlie, and most of all has a great Fooball Knowledge. He epitomises all that is great about Eversley F.C.which is present from your goodself downwards,Hospitable,Friendly,Welcoming Club.I wish James well he is my KIND OF GUY.The new MANAGEMENT team have a hard act to follow.

Thanks for the positive comments Smudge. We always aim to be as hospitable and welcoming to other teams and supporters.

James has been a terrific manager for us (our most successful yet) and has been the main driving force for our on-field progression over the past 3 years. The club are extremely grateful for what James and his team of coaches have achieved at Eversley and we have loved working with him; as you say he is well experienced, competitive but fair and has a good understanding of how the game should be played.

He has helped turn the 1st XI into a well respected and good-footballing side whilst developing good young footballers, and has brought the club to a position where it can continue to progress. It has been James' own decision to step aside at the end of the current season, but we are pleased that he has chosen to remain at the club and will continue to play a pivotal role with our future development.

He runs his own business and has a young family, and with 3 sons now playing competitive football themselves, he obviously wants to be part of their football progression. He realises that 1st Management is almost a full time job at this level and beyond, and with these other commitments he can be somewhat restricted in respect of his available time.

The new management team have some ambitious plans, which match those of the club, and with immanent ground improvements on the horizon, we hope that Premier Division football is not too far away in the next few years.

Hopefully see you at one of our games in the near future.

do we know this new manager Daniel, has he managed in CCL before or is he coming straight down from level 4? good luck to you and Eversley but the most important thing a manager can have at his disposal at this level is contacts, you have to know the right players and have a list of them as long as your arm

My solution as a Manager would be to tell the players there would be £100 behind the bar if they won, watch them step up a few gears.

Stealing my ideas smudge!!
