Westfield 1-1 CB Hounslow. Decent game against a visiting side that as ever like to get the ball down. We took an early lead but they levelled half hour in from a corner and finished the half better. Second half I thought we were the better side but didn't create enough chances and those we did were missed.

Mind numbing first half with just a goal for Croydon as a highlight, which resulted from a Gareth Graham corner. Second half was much improved with four further goals in the first 20 minutes. So, finally managed to capture the Trams on camera, completing the set for the Premier Division! Goal action to follow....

Thanks TRS - I'm glad you were there ! .One of those games I missed the Croydon 2nd goal whilst collecting a ball and our 2-2 equaliser looking for a sponsored walk form in the committee room . I once missed 4 goals out of a 3-2 win at Worthing .(arrived late -walking behind the stand and in the toilet.

 

Dreadful first half so we were hoping for a response second half -which happened and it turned into not a bad game in the end . A long awaited home win to start balancing off our home and away record .

We deserved something from the game. And im amazed how Farnham have managed to stay top of the league. I have great respect for Shaun and Spas, but they have produced better teams than that. That's the first time I've played against Farnham this year, and to be honest expected them to be better.

Another victory for Farnham, not a great performance but we keep grinding out wins on what has got to be the worst pitch in the league.

 

Went 1 0 down early but hit back with 2 goals from Jonny Horner and another for BBM. Cant say I agree with the comments that Frimley deserved something from the game (or that Farnham are a one man team) the only problems they really caused us were from long throws and the penalty in the last minute made the result sound closer than it was.

 

Thats five wins in a row now which has given us a good points tally going into a run of tough games starting at Hayes on Saturday

I think it's fair to say that Frimley had two clear chances to score in the first half, hitting the post and bar - more down to Farnham's inability to clear their lines than Frimley being dangerous. Then Farnham had two chances of their own and scored them both. And maybe that Is the difference between two clubs - one vying for promotion - and one in the bottom half of the table, on a 90 minute performance. Farnham have had better performances this season but could Frimley say they've played much better? Possibly not.

 

If Farnham we're a one man team - The unknowing neutral would probably say that one man is the busy BBM - Not the inconsistent number 6! But then even BBM should have made it 4-1 when he blazed over!

Gutted best team on the night are out, but thats probably how Sandhurst felt last week when abandoned 2-0 up with 17 mins to go. Good Luck to Sandhurst hope you go on to win it.
