Well done Margate. 16 points above the relegation line and 10 points behind a playoff spot. A good run could see Margate pinch that last playoff position.

Anyway great result and great for the confidence.

The whole team played with passion tonight and fought for everything. Although not on the scoresheet, Welford didn't stop running the whole game. Curtis played a blinder but the whole team gave 110%. One of the best Margate performances I have seen for quite some time. We had two cleared off the line in the second half, one after a fantastic link up with Welford and Bradbrook, and a dissallowed goal which I can only assume was for pushing, but nothing obvious. A great evening and hopefully a great confidence builder.

We pressed Carshalton all over the pitch and never let them play. Even at 3-1 up we were looking for more goals, very positive attitude.
