Feltham 1-1 Westfield

Not a great day to play football. We paid the price for dominating the first half but only taking a one goal lead into the break. Feltham scored straight after the restart and were much improved but neither side could take one of the very few chances that came their way

Decent win for us. Great opening goal from Lummers, right-footed strike into the top corner. Good second from the head of Ricky Hogsden. Cobham battled against a strong wind and got one back just before the half.

We had our backs against the wall for most of the second half due to the conditions and Cobham pressed us hard for an equaliser. But we got a third at a great time, 10 to go, with a good follow up strike from Woody Cardona.

Little mention for the Cobham staff and the majority of the players for their no-show in the clubhouse after - really classy. Pint of bitter all round I think........

Easy 4-0 win for the Moles.

Horley are a very poor football side who just rely on long balls and trying to wind up the opposition.

Highlights were our right back being subbed after being spat on and we didn't need unessersary red cards, and the Horley management giving our assistant manager the finger... Classy.

My favourite has to be their number 9 (Nathan Jupp) who barely had a touch all day but managed to injure the same player three times... Just a wind-up merchant with no ability

Egham Town 0-0 Chessington & Hook United - this from two sides who produced a 6-5 home win in the earlier fixture. This is only our third 0-0 in four and a half seasons in CCL. Egham totally dominated the second half (and most of the first) but the C & H keeper Dan Fisher produced a few outstanding saves. The linesman running the line by the C & H dugout got the second half off to a flying start by first saying John Pomroy should not have been awarded a penalty because the ball had run through to the keeper, and then flagged a throw in for the visitors while verbally awarding it to us. He didn't have an answer when I enquired if the knew the difference between "what he sits on" and "elbow". (How come this site lets "crap" through, but not the word for bottom that rhymes with class?)

FNE 0-4 FARLEIGH

Arrived at a very windy Chobham FC to play FNE, pitch very uneven...

A scoreless first half with both teams testing both keepers.

The wind playing a major part no chances were taken.

Second half Farleigh upped the tempo & after 10 mins into the second half Scott Robson made the keeper pull off what seemed like a good save but for it to fall to Farleigh Fox to drill past the floored keeper.

Richie White struck 5 mins later smashing the ball past the defence & keeper into the bottom corner.

FNE pressed and had a few near chances but only to hit the Farleigh defence.

Kieran Dias went through on goal one-on-one. FNE keeper miss judging the bounce and allowing Dias to have a simple tap in until the FNE defender rugby tackled and cleared.

Straight red & Farleigh Fox cooly converted the penalty.

Once again Scott Robson denied by the Keeper but with Farleigh Fox in the right place to finish off his Hat-trick.

Farleigh fox could of had a fourth only for team mate Kevin Malloy to be ruled offside.

Scott Robson saw red after mouthing off to the Lino with 20 seconds left of the game.

A solid win for Farleigh in the end, games like this must be won.

Credit to FNE who fought to the last minute of the game & good honest footballers.

On another note, the forgotten Billy Lippet scored for Farleigh Reserves in their 2-2 draw with Hounslow

Badshot Lea 1-2 Chertsey Town.

Drab game spoilt by a strong wind throughout, Marcus Cousins giving Baggies a fortunate lead almost on half time. Second half belonged to the Curfews, with Dan Bennett laying on both goals first for Tom O'Regan and then Phil Page. Baggies didn't really look like getting back into it and in truth Chertsey could have had a couple more. Vital win for them and sets them up nicely for Guildford next Saturday.

Div 1 cup Q-Final

Worcester Park 3-0 Warlingham

Scoreline to flatter park but same old same old for Wars with missed chances coming back to haunt them. In a game that was full of tackles and passion Wars started brighlty but failed to convert chances.Park grabbed 2 in 5 mins to put them in driving seat. Wars plugged away but no end product. Wars changed it on second half and played their best footba;ll of 2011 but chance after chance went begging and you simply cant afford to do that against a well organised Park side. Park wrapped tt up with 5 to go. I have been managing in this league on and off for 8 years and I have to say that todays performance from referee Martin Read was an absolute disgrace.

Awful tackles from both sides went un punished, his positioning at all set pieces was a joke, the use of the advantage rule was a farce and If im brutally hionest he was totally fuc***g useless from start to finish. YES i have written a report. YES i will send it off.YES he did make a difference. Will my report a make any difference NO!!

Onwards and upwards for Wars with only the league to concentrate on now and a massive two months to try and salvage a season that started full of promise.

Good luck to Worcester park in semi-final they are the best w.park side I have seen for many years. Well organised some very good players and a top set up over there.

Croydon 3 - Raynes Park Vale 4.

Really good game today, with both teams keeping the ball on the ground most of the time. Only one thing spoilt the game, not the wind, one particular lines man. Today our ref was really good and he didn't even make a card appear, which in todays football is rare. So all credit to Simeon Potter. So tempted to make a joke about quidditch .. but I can't well done to him

Sadly the same could not be said to the fool on the line who came out with some exceptionally strange and wrong decisions. example ... a player has both arms in front of himself, and an opposition player behind him. yet he flags for the player in front holding the one behind. maybe it was the players third arm .... lol. Yet two minutes later when an elbow is raised no more than 4 feet in front of him, he fails to see it. Strange? Where was he looking? The starlings on the floodlights?

Ok back to match action.

RPV were gifted the first two goals by Croydon. Although Croydon's fist was a super duper classic with a smartly laid ball from Gareth Graham to Leon McDowell. So at half time it was CFC 1 = RPV2.

Second half was really good to watch, both teams playing well. RPV went 3-1 up 2 minutes in to the restart, then Croydon fought back to 3-3. Glorious, but they appeared to still be celebrating the equaliser when RPV nabbed a fourth.

On reflection the game deserved to be a draw, 3-3 or 4-4 but still good entertainment from both sides. Sadly one person spoilt a game that even the wind couldn't!
